The Serengeti and Ngorongoro Safari is an incredible adventure that offers some truly compelling and amazing experiences. Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
- Pick up from the airport upon arrival and transfer to the booked hotel
- Delivery of a short safari briefing by the guide
- Checking for dinner and overnight stay
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
The 8-day Wildebeest Calving Migration Ndutu (December to April) tour begins with a drive to Tarangire National Park after breakfast. Tarangire is a small park with stunning scenery, and it comes alive with wildlife and birdlife congregating around the Tarangire River during the dry season. You’ll spend the night in a lodge within the park, which provides stunning views and a unique atmosphere. Later in the afternoon, you’ll travel to the special tented camp.
Day 3: Game Drive In Serengeti and Transfer To Ngorongoro
- Have breakfast and checkout the hotel for a half day game drive in Serengeti
- Game view in the park to spot Big cats, wildebeests, elephants, giraffes, bufallos, zebras, antelopes
- Get a chance to come across a variety of bird species
- Break for lunch at a picnic site
- Proceed with the transfer to Ngorongoro in the booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Game Drive in Ngorongoro and Transfer To Arusha
- Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Ngorongoro crater, the largest unbroken caldera in the world
- Half day game drive at the crater to spot Big five, giraffes, zebras, elands, hyenas, orynx
- Come across variety of bird species including ostrich, ducks and flamingos spread across the crater lake
- Break for lunch at the crater rim
- Ascend out of the crater and start heading back to Arusha
